Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary lunch here today. About our 3rd or 4th trip total. As always the experience was excellent! They comped us a delicious dessert & took our picture outside. We will be back again & may try Jesse on the Bay in the meantime.
Awesome place in Magnolia Springs, AL. Jesse's Restaurant is a hidden gem. The hostess was sweet and pleasant. Our waitress Janey was awesome. Really made the dining experience enjoyable. The oysters Jesse were awesome. Also had the pan seared grouper with crab meat. Superb. Atmosphere was quaint, quiet, and personal. Almost felt like you were the only one there, even though it was crowded. Jesse's Restaurant has a great bar. Made a reservation so we didn't have to wait long. It is pricey for dinner but well worth the splurge. There are plenty of reasonable priced options as well, and the lunch menu is reasonable also.
5 stars... Because I can't give it 10. Amazing food, better than amazing service. Literally every Staff member in the restaurant was pleasant and helpful. Ribeye was delicious... Risotto was perfectly cooked.... Dessert.... Even better. Can't wait for our next visit
Absolutely loved our first time to Jesse's! Pleasant dining in the lovely quaint town of Magnolia Springs! Got BBQ shrimp for appetizer. Highly recommend. My hubs got the ribeye. It had a perfect crust and beautiful med rare center. I got the grouper. Mmm..
Hands down one of the best experiences overall I’ve had at a restaurant!!!! The food, drinks service, atmosphere was all exceptional!!! 11/10!!! The lavender, raspberry & lemon martinis were amazing. We got the crawfish mac n cheese, crab cakes, & calamari as appetizers & they all took our breath away... so delicious. The filet mignon with mashed potatoes & green beans were phenomenal as all. Our waiter was so kind, thoughtful, detailed & awesome. Multiple other workers came by to check on us, they brought us a heater when it got chilly. Atmosphere, workers & food were truly amazing. Thank you Jesse’s on the Bay!!!
This is a darling,hands down, wonderful atmosphere with awesome professional staff such as our waiter Conner, and the food didn't disappoint any of us what so ever. The food was all very fresh, flavors glore with nice portions. Definitely give this establishment a try, but make reservations so you know you will get served. Having been all over the country, I'm going to state this was one of my top 20 spots and will definitely return if within 100 miles.
Went to Jesse’s at the recommendation of a regular at the coffee shop I work at in South Dakota. He retired previously in Fairhope and told us we HAD to go to Jesse’s! Our server was a guy from Mississippi originally and did a stellar job with answering questions, explaining the menu, giving recommendations, tending to my mother’s food allergies, sharing local history, and making sure we were well taken care of! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Some of them pointed me to the restroom when they noticed me looking confused. Some of them helped me figure out how to purchase a T-Shirt. When I did so, the bartender who checked me out learned my name and asked me how my dinner was. Each person in my party of four was very impressed with the food. The best part was my mother who has a severe lactose intolerance usually has to settle for a sub-par meal if she can even find anything on the menu she can eat. The chef made her meal custom and we all tried it and she got the best meal on the table! Which warmed my heart. My father and I who share a birthday were served a complimentary desert which was far better than your usual ice cream scoop! It is a pricey meal, but well worth it in my opinion!
Everything about this place was gold star service! The food, management and service were outstanding. Our server Clint was just amazing, very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions without hesitation. He worked very hard to make certain everything was as perfect as possible for us. This will be the standard to which I hold all my dining experiences to from this point forward. The highlight of my evening was the Lavender Creme Brulee. Truly something I will remember for a long time to come.
